The Position “Executive Director” for the Association shall be established by the Board of Directors, which shall determine the job description, remuneration and appropriate budget for the office.
The Association shall provide the Executive Director with the job tools and equipment needed to perform the duties of the Association. This includes but is not limited to: Association Credit Card, Computer, Tablet, Smart Devices, Printers, office supplies, etc.
Responsibilities:
The Association expects the Executive Director to provide leadership, direction and activities as noted in the Association Bylaws, including, but not limited to:
- · Management of the Certification Programs and oversight of the Training Director.
- · Management of the LPC Service Program and oversight of the LPC Director.
- · Management and oversight of Executive Directors office staff and volunteers.
- · Management and oversight of the Executive Directors Office Operations including but not limited to:
- § Associations Accounting (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable)
- § Associations Website
- § Associations Social Media Sites and Publications
- § Associations On-Line Learning Platform
- § Associations On-Line Forms
- § Associations Membership Program
- § Associations Compliance with Federal and State Regulations
- § Associations Accounting Firm
- § Associations Insurance Requirements
- § Associations Conference Operations (Annual, PD/Energy, and Custodial)
- § Associations Branding Program
- § Associations Contract Negotiations & Execution of Contracts
- § Associations Regional Meetings
- § Associations Committee Meetings
- § Associations Voting Operations
- · Develop Association Meetings Agenda
- · Prepare a detailed financial report of incoming and outgoing monies to be reported to the finance committee monthly.
- · Maintain a working relationship with KDE, KSBA, KEDC, KPC, KASS, and other educational Associations and the Kentucky Department of Education to foster partnerships.
- · Attend National School Plant Management Association Annual Conference
- · Maintain a working relationship with other School Plant Management State Associations.
- · Travel expenses will be provided to administer the Association’s business, and other approved activities per the budget and travel reimbursement operating procedures approved by the Board of Directors.
- · Annually, the Executive Board Committee will forecast potential new or expanded responsibilities or opportunities for the Executive Director, becoming a part of his or her contract; and
- · Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Board Committee.
